Volvo seals first BTCS win

Eric van de Poele and Vincent Radermecker claim Volvo’s first victory at Spa-Francorchamps.

Starting from pole, Eric van de Poele led the way in the Greenspeed’n’Technology run Volvo S60, initially from Koen & Kris Wauters in the Chad Racing Kia Pro_Cee’d.

The Kia was the only car to threaten the Volvo, but when the Kia retired due to fuel pressure issues, there was no stopping Radermecker in the Volvo, which went on to take a comfortable victory ahead of the Renault Mégane of Christian Kelders & Frédéric Bouvy.

The second of the Chad Racing Kia’s of Werner Moonens & Iain Dockerill finished third.
