Anis takes Hyundai’s first CCTCC victory

Sasha Anis took his first victory in the Hyundai Genesis, taking the lead from race one winner Nick Wittmer to score G1 Racing’s first win of the season.

Nick Wittmer finished second, with Gregory Pootmans repeating his third place from Saturday’s race.

“I was behind Nick and didn’t want to do anything stupid, like I messed up with Greg (Pootmans) in the other race. I just wanted to pace him (Wittmer), and then his car just started falling off, and I said either I pass Nick or get passed by Greg. I passed Nick and it worked out.” said Sasha Anis.

In the Touring category, Tom Kwok repeated his win from yesterday, ahead of the Durabond/C360 Racing car of Anthony Rapone. Patick Séguin finishing third.
