Belgian Touring Cars announce 2011 schedule
The Belgian Touring Car Series has confirmed its 2011 calendar, with three rounds at Spa, two at Zolder and one at Dijon-Prenois as this year.
The season opener will be at Zolder in April, where the BTCS will run with the FIA GT3 European Championship.
The championship will again include a special 12 hour endurance race at Spa-Francorchamps in June.
The calendar effectively mirrors this season’s schedule, but with the shared date with GT3 moving to the season opener instead, and the Gordon Finest Race moving to October.
Delahaye Racing won this year’s championship with Belgian driver Frédéric Bouvy in a Renault Mégane Trophy, with the Volvo S60 Racing pairing of Vincent Radermecker & Eric van de Poele finishing second in their first season of competition with the Volvo S60.
