Radermecker and van de Poele win race two
The Volvo S60 Racing pair have won the second race at Dijon-Prenois, with the same top three as yesterday’s race with the Delahaye Racing pair completing the podium.
Radermecker started the race from pole position, and the Volvo S60 held on the lead throughout, handing over to Eric van de Poele during the pit-stop sequence to take the chequered flag after 63 laps.
In second place was the Delahaye Renault Mégane of Edouard Mondron and Stéphane Lémeret, with 2008-2010 champion Frédéric Bouvy third in the car he shares with Christian Kelders.
The Jaguar XF of Jérôme Thiry and Werner Moonens finished fourth, with Philippe Steveny’s and Didier De Radigues Kia Pro_Cee’d in fifth place, which sees them tie for the championship leaving Dijon-Prenois with 64 points with the Renault of Bouvy and Kelders.
With the Volvo suffering two DNFs at the opening round at Zolder three weeks ago, Radermecker and van de Poele slot into fifth in the championship, 24 points down on the leading quartet.
