Delahaye Racing confirm 12 Hours of Spa line-up
Reigning champions Delahaye Racing have confirmed their third drivers for this year’s 12 Hours of Spa round of the Belgian Touring Car Series, which will take place on 18th-19th June.
Frédéric Bouvy and Christian Kelders will be joined in the No.1 Renault Mégane Trophy by Geoffroy Horion, whilst the No.2 pairing of Stéphane Lémeret and Edouard Mondron will be joined by Julien Schroyen, fresh from winning the 12 hours of Hungary last weekend in a VDS Racing Ford Mustang GT3.
The third Mégane, the black No.5 machine regularly piloted by Laurent Richard and Alexandre Viron will see Pierre-Etienne Bordet join the team for the series special endurance event.
Last year’s 12 Hours of Spa was won by KS Motorsport’s BMW M3 silhouette of Steve Vanbellingen, Ruben Maes and Harold Stoeltie.
The BMW took the lead on the final lap from the Volvo S60 which was driven by Vincent Radermecker, Eric van de Poele and guest driver Rob Huff, though the British driver won’t be being called up again to help this year as the Belgian endurance race clashes with the World Touring Car Championship round in the Czech Republic.
