Ferrier & Dockerill back this weekend for Spa

Chad Racing will field a Kia Pro_Cee’d for Tom Ferrier and Iain Dockerill this weekend at Spa-Francorchamps, making it two Kia’s on the grid for the first time this season.

Team owner/driver Iain Dockerill will compete with Tom Ferrier, whom first raced the Kia late last year in the Belgian Touring Car Series, and has been racing for the team in the British GT Championship this season.

This weekend, the British GT championship will share the schedule with the Belgian Touring Car Series, and so Chad Racing have decided to compete in both events.

Dockerill and Ferrier will race their Ferrari F430 GT in the British GT races on Saturday, as well as the three BTCS races on Friday and Saturday.

The Kia Buy Way Pro_Cee’d of Didier De Radiguès and Philippe Stéveny topped the times in the pre-event test with a best lap of 2:27.939. Vincent Rademecker was second quickest in the Neri Competition Volvo S60, with Ferrier and Dockerill third and fourth in the team’s two Kias, though they’ll both share the same car for the races.

The first race of the weekend takes place at 17:00 CET on Friday, with races two and three taking place back-to-back at 11:00 CET on Saturday.
