Lee Holdsworth shows off new SBR Falcon

New Stone Brothers Racing signing Lee Holdsworth has taken the wraps off the No.4 IRWIN Tools sponsored Ford Falcon FG that he will compete with in the 2012 V8 Supercars Championship.

Holdsworth left Garry Rogers Motorsport at the end of the 2011 season after six years with the team. He will be replaced by Frenchman Alexandre Prémat at GRM, whilst Holdsworth himself will take over from Alex Davison at SBR, joining Tim Slade and Shane van Gisbergen.

Stone Brothers Racing are chasing their first championship success since 2005, when they last won the championship with Russell Ingall.

“I’ve seen a few things that have made me feel like it’s a step up from what I’m used to and a big step forward in the right direction when it comes to my long-term career,” said Holdsworth.

“The facilities are impressive, there is so much development happening.”

“They have all the tools at hand to do anything they want. If we can put it all together and make some smart decisions we should have a really good package.”
