Three pole positions for Davison at Yas Marina

Ford man Will Davison has taken all three pole positions for the triple V8 Supercars race weekend at Yas Marina.
“We’ve had pretty good qualifying form all season. It was good to bounce back strongly on the Gold Coast and hopefully we can carry that on here and finish the year like we started it,” said Davison.

The best three times from a single qualifying session determined the grid for the three races.

The FPR driver beat Jamie Whincup with 0.11 seconds overall, with Whincup claiming second on the grid for all three races.

The leading duo was well clear of the other drivers with Shane van Gisbergen, Tim Slade and Lee Holdsworth being closest, three tenths behind.

Title contender Mark Winterbottom is going to start seventh ahead of Jonathon Webb, Craig Lowndes and James Courtney.
