First pics: FPR launches 2013 V8 Supercars look

Pexi Max Crew FPR has unveiled their look for the 2013 V8 Supercars championship.
“This year is in many ways all about a fresh approach in how we look and certainly with the new cars the racing will be different, though importantly the core members of the team are the same so importantly we have stability off track,” said driver Mark Winterbottom.

The team is going to field two Car of the Future (COTF) specification Ford Falcons for Winterbottom and Will Davison this year.
“We are right on top of the development of the new car and while we will be racing soon enough, tonight is a good chance to soak up all the hard work that has gone into getting the team’s new look ready and it is great to see so many people here sharing it with us. Last year proved we can lead from the front and I know those experiences will only make us all stronger this year,” said Davison.

The first test of the year at Eastern Creek is just eight days away and the team is eager to get going to see where they stand against all of the other new COTF models.
“Nobody knows what will happen this year with so many new things but the team has done a good job to be in such a strong position with the new car. I really like the new look and Pepsi Max is a cool brand to be racing with so I think we are going to have some fun this year. I can’t wait to get started,” said Winterbottom.
