Bright and Courtney penalised after incidents

Jason Bright and James Courtney left the V8 Supercars premiere in Adelaide with 15 championship points removed in penalties for incidents in the first two races of the year.

Bright got his penalty for the incident pictured above, when turning around Rick Kelly in the last part of the race which also eliminated Todd Kelly and Garth Tander.

Holden Racing Team driver Courtney got his penalty for a race one incident. Courtney clashed with Bright in turn nine. Today’s race also saw Courtney being involved in an incident with Scott McLaughlin, turning him around, but with no action from the stewards.

The V8 Supercars continues on the 7th of April at Symmons Plains.
