25 point penalty for Scott Pye after Ipswich

Scott Pye has got 25 points removed by the V8 Supercars stewards as a penalty for colliding with Alexandre Prémat in the final race of the Ipswich weekend.

Pye tried to pass Prémat in the first corner of the final race, resulting in a spin for Prémat and a retirement for Russell Ingall who was unable to avoid the spinning cars.

Prémat had to pit for damage repairs and finished 26th eventually while Pye finished 19th in the race.
