Special liveries on show for this weekend’s Bathurst 1000
With the first day of track activity underway, a few of the special liveries which are being run for this event have now been caught out in the wild. Pictured above is the #36 Nissan Altima of Michael Caruso and Dean Fiore, running in the classic colours of Nissan Motorsport from 1984, celebrating their first pole position at Mount Panorama.
Erebus Motorsport also has a different livery this weekend, with the #4 car of Lee Holdsworth and Craig Baird running in black and yellow.

Both of Triple Eight Race Engineering’s cars are running in a special livery dedicated to the Royal Australian Air Force this weekend.
Another retro livery is that of the #17 Dick Johnson Racing Ford Falcon of David Wall and Steven Johnson, celebrating the Shell Helix livery of 20 years ago. Unfortunately the car hasn’t even completed a lap after the first two practice sessions after a tyre blow-out on the Conrod Straight in FP1.
