TCR completes BoP test with Honda, Opel and SEAT

The TCR organisation has completed a Balance of Performance test in Spain with cars from Honda, Opel and SEAT.

The BoP test was headed by Technical Director Andreas Bellu and Technical Delegate Knut Wartenberg in order to set a first level of balance by adjusting weight, ride height and air restrictor based on the lap times from the test day.

Touring car ace Nicola Larini was appointed as test driver, driving the following cars:

Honda Civic TCR
Opel Astra OPC
SEAT León Racer

The Ford Focus of Onyx Engineering was supposed to take part in the test, but the completion of the car has been delayed. The team has reported that they will complete a shakedown with the car laster this week. The car will be tested by the TCR organisation in a separate test prior to being shipped to the season start in Malaysia.

The Balance of Performance specification will be completed and unveiled shortly, according to the TCR organisation.
