Power and weight changes for Geely and Hyundai

The power and weight levels have been changed for the new Geely Preface TCR and the Hyundai Elantra N EV TCR in the latest technical bulletin from WSC, the TCR rights holders.

The Preface TCR will have its power reduced from 97.5% to 95% and its minimum weight increased by 10kg to a total of 1295kg, the lowest power level of all TCR cars currently.

The Elantra N EV TCR has had its minimum weight increased by 10kg as well for a total of 1295kg and its power level reduced from 100% to 97,5%.

It should however be noted that the power level change for the Hyundai only applies to the unique FIA TCR World Tour Balance of Performance, as any teams using the models outside of that championship will remain at 100%.

The weight and power changes for the Geely are applied to both the FIA TCR World Tour and general TCR BoP.
