Andrea Belicchi excluded from Race 2

Target Competition’s Andrea Belicchi has been excluded from Race 2 after not stopping for the drive through penalty received for overtaking under Safety Car.

The Italian had not received the information during the race, and shortly after claimed that he had on-board footage to prove he had given the position back, but having not served his penalty he has been disqualified regardless of his infringement.

Oscar Nogués has also been given a reprimand for the accident at the start, along with a suspended 5-place grid penalty for two races.

Belicchi’s exclusion brings Gianni Morbidelli up to third and on the podium, as the Target Competition driver loses 15 points in the championship as well.
