Proteam Racing back on track in Austria

Proteam Racing will be back for the Race of Austria in Spielberg. The Italian team just made it in time to send the car over to the Red Bull Ring, as the Ford Focus ST is still on its way to the track.

Diego Romanini, who will drive the car again after Tom Boardman’s spell with the Ford in Monza, is already at the track and is waiting for the updated version of the Onyx-built machine to arrive in the paddock, at around 10 p.m.

Despite scoring one point in Monza, Boardman was far off the pace in Italy due to gearbox issues, but the car now seems to be fit for racing and ready to take over the challenge of the Red Bull Ring.

Campos Racing will instead not return to the track in Austria.
