WestCoast Racing working on braking issue
Gianni Morbidelli finished the second practice session just behind points leader Pepe Oriola. The WestCoast Racing driver found it difficult to adapt to Singapore due to the dirt still on the track, which is normally used as a road in the Asian city.
“It’s difficult to have a clear idea. The track is still very dirty,” admitted the Italian. “The track seems quite treacherous, it is easy to make mistakes.”
Besides the difficulties of the track, Honda are still working on a braking issue which peaked at the Red Bull Ring with Morbidelli completely losing his brakes at Turn 3, hitting Stefano Comini in the process: “We still have many things to solve on the car, first of all, a brake issue,” acknowledged the WestCoast Racing driver.
Action will resume tomorrow at 15.45 local time for Qualifying.
