Top Run Subaru finally makes it to Singapore
After a very long journey the new Subaru WRX STI TCR arrived in Singapore.
The car is currently being checked and inspected, but has been allowed to race due to exceptional circumstances, meaning Luca Rangoni will be able to start from the back of the grid for the two races.
The car actually was delivered before qualifying, but there was not enough time to perform the necessary checks in order to send it out on track as the car did not make it to the paddock, due to the roads being closed.
A special escort by the Singapore police was not enough to take the car out on track, which the team would have liked to do in order to perform a shakedown and see if the car could qualify despite its struggles to reach the track.
The first race will start at 22.25 local time.
