Fabian Coulthard announces exit from Brad Jones Racing

Fabian Coulthard has announced that he will leave Brad Jones Racing after the 2015 V8 Supercars season.
“I haven’t signed anything yet – obviously I haven’t formalised anything. I’ve let BJR know that I am going to move on but … I haven’t formalised anything as yet,” said Coulthard to Inside Supercars.

The 33-year-old has so far not revealed any details on a potential new 2016 drive, while rumours have pointed at DJR Team Penske, and is currently focused on the final part of the current season.

“The day to day relationships within the team, hopefully nothing changes – we’ve got a job to do and that’s to do the best job I can in the Freightliner Commodore for the remainder of the year and we’ll go about the rest of it later on,” said Coulthard.

Coulthard joined Brad Jones Racing in 2012 and has since then claimed four V8 Supercars victories and finished fifth in the drivers championship as best overall result.
