Jordi Gené to make CITE debut in Misano

TCR International Series regular Jordi Gené will be at the wheel of a SEAT Léon Cup Racer in the Campionato Italiano Turismo Endurance.

The Spaniard will race alongside SEAT Motorsport Italia regular Valentina Albanese, who is fighting for the outright title in a car which is largely similar to the TCR International Series specifications, although with differences in regards to the brakes, the gearbox and the tyres.

The weekend at the Marco Simoncelli Misano World Cicuit will feature three races, in order to make up for the second heat which was not held at Vallelunga due to a storm.

“We believe that Jordi Gené taking part in this race is an important opportunity for SEAT Italy,” said SEAT Italia director Gianpiero Wyhinny, a racer himself in the local Ibiza Cup. “We want to make full use of Jordi’s experience and deep knowledge of a car he helped develop, therefore adding to the skill proved by our works team and our driver Valentina Albanese.”
