Robb Holland optimistic for Thailand

Robb Holland had a positive outing in his Ford Focus TCR in today’s Testing session at Buriram, Thailand. The American completed 28 laps of the Chang International Circuit in the FRD Ford, which allowed the team to work on the setup of the car.

“I am very happy with the progress we have made today,” said Holland to TouringCarTimes. “There’s obviously plenty more to do, but I think we are heading into the right direction and the fact alone that we were able to put miles under our belt is important.”

The American is convinced the car may well end up in the top twelve: “To be honest we are not too far from a Q2 spot. The car can be improved, and we still have a gearbox gremlin, so I have to lift off every time I upshift, and once we solve that we will gain time automatically. I think the outlook is positive, the car seems to be reliable, so I am optimistic.”

The Ford Focus was last raced by Kenneth Ma in Singapore.
