Will Davison confirmed to join Tekno Autosports

Just hours after the announcement of Will Davison leaving Erebus Motorsport at the end of the 2015 V8 Supercars season, the Australian has been confirmed to join Tekno Autosports for 2016.

“We are delighted to have a driver of the calibre of Will Davison join us and we’re excited about the competitive potential of this new combination,” said Steve Hallam, Tekno Autosports General Manager.

Davison will drive the Holden Commodore of Tekno Autosports from 2016 and beyond, with the contract being ”multi-year”.

The Australian replaces Shane Van Gisbergen, who has left for Triple Eight Race Engineering, while Erebus Motorsport are yet to announce Davison’s replacement.

Speculations however have pointed at David Reynolds as the potential driver for the Mercedes team.
