Stefano Comini still fighting with engine issues

Stefano Comini came tenth again in Free Practice 2, after obtaining the same result earlier this morning. The championship leader still hasn’t solved his problems with the car.

“It’s still not working,” admitted the Swiss to TouringCarTimes. “The team changed my throttle pedal as the problem seemed to come from there, but it hasn’t changed much. I’m still in trouble.”

The biggest problem for the championship leader seems to be that he and his Target Competition team do not know where to go now: “We are stuck, we are struggling to find the problem, but all I know is that the car is not pushing as it should. Hopefully some hard work will allow us to fix the car, otherwise we are going to be in trouble.”

Comini leads the championship by 11 points over Craft-Bamboo Lukoil’s Pepe Oriola.
