Gianni Morbidelli philosophical about power steering problem

Gianni Morbidelli was not able to leave the pit lane in today’s free practice session in Macau due to a power steering issue, which forced the Italian to leave his Honda Civic TCR Step 2 out of the action.

“It’s a shame, because missing a session is really hard here,” admitted Morbidelli to TouringCarTimes. “It will take some time to make up for that.”

Despite not running at all, the Italian was philosophical: “It has happened, we will not look back. I had a few issues in Buriram, here it’s absolutely impossible to drive without power steering. We will solve the problem and move on, there’s not much we can do apart from that.”

Morbidelli is still looking for a win, which he is missing since the Monza round of the TCR International Series.
