Top Run Subaru of Alain Menu withdrawn from Guia Race of Macau

The Top Run Subaru WRX STi of Alain Menu will take no further part in this weekend’s Guia Race of Macau following an engine failure in Free Practice 1 on Thursday.

The Italian team tried to source replacement parts locally in order to repair the car ahead of this afternoon’s second practice session, but to no success.

The Macau grid is therefore reduced by three further cars overnight. The FRD Sport Focus Focus ST of Kenneth Ma is not running and has not arrived at the circuit, while extensive damage after practice crashes for Target Competition’s Rafael Galiana and Campos Racing’s Josh Files means both are set to miss the rest of the weekend.

Free Practice 2 is the only running on track scheduled for Friday, which takes place at 12:30 CST.
