Penalties for Jack Perkins and James Courtney
Jack Perkins, substituting for Nick Percat at Lucas Dumbrell Motorsport, was excluded from the final race in Sydney due to too low tyre pressure.
A post-race investigation found that his Holden Commodore did not meet the minimum tyre pressure of 17 psi, meaning that the stewards removed him from 21st position in the race.
Holden Racing Team driver James Courtney was given a 25-point penalty for an incident with James Moffat on the final lap which saw the Nissan driver being turned around. Courtney keeps 10th position in the drivers’ championship despite the penalty.
Erebus Motorsport was given a 30-point penalty and a 3000 AUD fine as a wheel nut rolled out into the fast lane during a pit stop in the final race.
