Andy Yan and Filipe de Souza to drive for Engstler in TCR Asia

Experienced Asian touring car drivers Andy Yan and Filipe de Souza has signed for Engstler Motorsport to drive in the 2016 TCR Asia Series.

“The addition of two of the Asian region’s most successful touring car drivers will do them no harm either, nor the experience that Engstler and Volkswagen bring into TCR Asia, they’ll certainly be amongst the front-runners this year,” said WSC Asia Limited CEO David Sonenscher.

The duo will drive a pair of Volkswagen Golf TCR race cars, starting in the season opener at the Korea International Circuit on May 14-15th.

Yan is a multiple CTCC champion and team mate de Souza is a multiple Macau Touring Car champion, having raced in the FIA World Touring Car Championship at Macau several times in the past as well.
