Antti Buri to take part in both TCR International and Germany this weekend

Finland’s Antti Buri will be on double duty this weekend as the TCR International Series heads to Oschersleben, with Antti Buri driving for his LMS Racing team in both the international championship as well as his regular place in the TCR Germany series.

Buri is competing in the TCR Germany series for the full season, while made a one-off appearance in the TCR International Series already this season at Spa-Francorchamps, completing a 1-2-3 for Leopard Racing, driving the team’s third Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR.

The Finn’s regular drive is with his own LMS Racing team in a 2015-specification SEAT León Cup Racer, which he will drive in both series this weekend.

Buri won the last round of the TCR Germany series at the Sachsenring and is currently placed sixth in the drivers’ standings, 34 points behind championship leader Harald Proczyk, who also made his TCR International Series debut two weeks’ ago at the Salzburgring, scoring pole position in a one-off drive for WestCoast Racing.
