Mikhail Grachev hails improved form despite “terrible heat”
Mikhail Grachev was fourth in today’s Free Practice in Singapore. The WestCoast Racing driver is happy his car seems to have improved from Buriram.
“The car is going much better than at Buriram, I hope we are back to the Sochi form,” said the Russian. “We still have some little issues with braking and wheel spinning at the exit of slow corners, but everything feels much better than in Thailand.”
Like many, Grachev admitted the heat is almost unbearable in the car, an issue which becomes even more apparent as the car stops in the pit lane: “The main issue is the heat, really terrible. And when you stop in the pits, is even worse because all the heat from the car comes into the cockpit.”
