Ferenc Ficza withdrawn from Salzburgring weekend

Zengo Motorsport have withdrawn the #55 SEAT León TCR of Ferenc Ficza from the Salzburgring weekend, after the car took heavy damage during a crash in Free Practice 1, with Ficza himself sent to hospital complaining of injured ribs.

Ficza crashed out at the fastly coming infamous Turn 9, which claimed fellow countryman Attila Tassi’s car in testing yesterday, the the M1RA team having to have a replacement Honda Civic sent overnight.

Icarus Motorsports’ Duncan Ende also ran into trouble at Turn 9 at the end of FP1, but it was more a glancing blow, with the car repairable for qualifying but will miss FP2.
