Onboard footage released of Rob Huff’s high-speed crash

Team WRT has released onboard footage of Rob Huff’s high-speed crash in the first TCR International Series race at Salzburgring.

The Brit crashed hard, leaving the track at over 200 km/h due to a front-left puncture, totalling his Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR race car.

Huff escaped the incident with a bruised arm, leaving the team with a tough job to repair his car ahead of the next race that takes place at Hungaroring next weekend.

Added to this incident, Huff’s team-mate Jean-Karl Vernay crashed later in the race, bringing the red flags out, with the Frenchman blasting the safety level of the Salzburgring.
