Power cut stops track action at Oschersleben

On-track action has not yet started this morning at Oschersleben, Germany, for the seventh round of the TCR International Series.

A storm in the region is believed to have caused a fire in the nearby town which has damaged the electricity infrastructure, which has caused an power cut in the entire area. Generators are on the way to the circuit to allow the start of track activity, as power will not be restored today.

The first free practice session, which was originally scheduled at 9:15, could start at 11:00 this morning. The TCR Germany timetable will also be affected, as it runs this weekend as a support event to the International Series.
