Dusan Borkovic blasts persistent car issues after double DNF in Germany

GE-Force Alfa Romeo driver Dusan Borkovic was critical of recurring steering issues with his Alfa Romeo Giulietta TCR at Oschersleben, after the Serbian was forced to retire from both races.

Borkovic was running as high as sixth in the incident-packed Race 2 which had only eight cars complete the full distance, while drama and contact with the SEAT of Stian Paulsen in the first race saw him retire and drop out of the race.

“I am really mad,” said Borkovic. “I can’t believe that I have the same problem with the car in every race.

“I am very disappointed especially considering I could have scored good points in Race 2 and returned to sixth position in overall standings. I am confident that the team will do its best to fix the issue at hand. I want to thank everybody for the support, I did my best as always.”
