Munkong Sathienthirakul will join DG Sport Compétition in Thailand

Thai driver Munkong Sathienthirakul will join DG Sport Competition for the TCR International Series races in Thailand next weekend alongside regular driver Mat’o Homola.

Sathienthirakul will replace Gregoire Demoustier, who handed in his notice at the last race and will focus on the World Rallycross Championship instead.

31-year-old Sathienthirakul has driven selected races of the TCR International Series previously for Team Engstler and Craft-Bamboo Racing, a team that he also raced for in the 2015 TCR Asia Series Sathienthirakul was also the S2000 class champion of the 2015 Thailand Super Series.

DG Sport Compétition is still looking for a second driver to join Homola for the coming two races in China and Abu Dhabi.
