DG Sport Compétition down to one car for Zhejiang

DG Sport Compétition will field just one Opel Astra TCR this weekend for Mat’o Homola, after not being able to find a replacement for their second car in China.

The front-running squad are still chasing their first win of the season after setting three pole positions. Slovakian driver Homola is ninth in the championship and has finished on the podium twice this year in the Astra TCR, while the team have fielded three different drivers in their second car, including Pierre-Yves Corthals, Grégoire Demoustier and Munkong Sathienthirakul.

With M1RA back to a two-car line-up after Giacomo Altoe failed to come to an agreement to continue with the Honda squad, the entry list for this weekend is 21 cars, with the field bolstered by a third Comtoyou Racing entry for Denis Dupont, the two ZZZ Team Audi RS 3s for Jiang Tengyi and Zheng Zhen Dong, as well as the two BRC Hyundai i30s for Gabriele Tarquini and Alain Menu.
