Giacomo Altoè to skip final two events of the season

Giacomo Altoè announced on Facebook he will not be on the grid in the final two races of the TCR International Series season.

The Veneto-based driver had made a switch from WestCoast Racing to M1RA for the race in Thailand, taking his maiden podium in the second race at Buriram. The Italian teenager said he couldn’t come to an agreement with the team for the final two races.

Altoè also took part in a TCR Italy race at Imola at the wheel of an Alfa Romeo Giulietta TCR. He has also qualified for the TCR Europe Trophy, having taken part in all TCR International Series races held in Europe and not being in the top ten of the championship standings.
