Philip Morin leads Saturday morning warm up at Knutstorp

Pole-sitter Philip Morin was fastest of all in the ten-minute warm up session ahead of this afternoon’s race at Knutstorp in his PWR Racing Cupra TCR, leading a 1-2-3 result for the team in the session.

Morin’s best time of 59.865 was half a second from his pole position time, and just under a tenth of a second faster than team-mate Daniel Haglöf, who will also share the front row with him in Race 1 today.

Reigning champion Robert Dahlgren was third fastest to complete a top three lockout for the team, with Fredrik Ekblom the best non-Cupra in fourth in his WestCoast Racing Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR.

Johan Kristoffersson was fifth in his KMS Volkswagen Golf, with Andreas Wernersson in the Lestrup Racing Team Volkswagen sixth, the last driver within half a second.

Mikaela Åhlin-Kottulinsky, now with a new engine aboard her PWR Cupra TCR, was seventh fastest ahead of KMS rookie Hugo Nerman, with the Audi RS 3 LMS of Tobias Brink and the Micke Kågered Racing Volkswagen of Andreas Ahlberg completing the top ten.

The first 19 lap race of the day is scheduled for 13:10 CEST.
