Estonian driver Andre Kiil enters the STCC at Anderstorp

Estonian driver Andre Kiil with ALM Motorsport will enter the Scandinavian Touring Car Championship round at Anderstorp next weekend.

“STCC is a great series to participate in. First of all of the location for an Estonian, but more importantly the competitiveness of the series,” said Kiil.

Kiil, the 2017 NEZ, Finnish and Estonian BMW Xtreme Cup champion, will be behind the wheel of a SEAT León TCR SEQ V3. His entry marks the first time since 1998, Tönu Soomer and Anders Bergmann, that an Estonian driver enters the STCC.

The team has announced entry for the races at Anderstorp and two further, not yet specified, this year with the ambition for full season in 2019.

“In 2018 we plan to enter two or three races in the STCC and go for full season in 2019. My ambition for next year is definitely to fight for the podium. It is not an easy task but I will work hard towards it. The future goal is to reach to the WTCR,” said Kiil.
