Daniel Haglöf leads disrupted warm up at Mantorp Park

PWR Racing Cupra driver Daniel Haglöf led a non-representative warm up session at Mantorp Park, where very few competitive times were set due the session being held with a yellow flag waved throughout.

It was a brighter today in contrast to the late storms from yesterday, but much cooler on track, but with an incident early on, the yellow flags were waved for the full session, meaning no fast laps were possible.

As a result, almost half the field didn’t set any timed laps at all, with most focussing on practice starts at the end of the pit lane exit.

Haglöf’s time was the fastest, albeit nearly four seconds from the qualifying pace yesterday, four-tenths of a second clear of Johan Kristoffersson’s KMS Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR.

Hugo Nerman was third quickest in the #69 KMS Volkswagen, with Alex Andersson the fastest of the Audi drivers in sixth for Brovallendesign design, despite his time being 2.2 seconds slower than Haglöf’s.

The first race of the day is scheduled for 12:50 CEST, with Lestrup Racing Team’s Andreas Wernersson starting from his first pole position.
