Ettore Carminati joins TCR Italy field

Ettore Carminati will join the 2020 TCR Italy championship season, driving a Hyundai i30 N TCR for his own team CRM Motorsport.

“I want to compete with the best drivers and learn from them,” said Carminati.

“I have opted for a Hyundai, because I have good relationship with Target Competition and, although I have my own team, we will share the awning and they will support me with some precious advice.”

The 36-year-old Italian made his racing debut last year, driving a Honda in the Italian Trofeo Super Cup.

“I join the championship with the plan to stay in for a few years, and my goal for this maiden season is to make the top-ten,” said Carminati.
