Supercars target spectator return at Darwin

The Supercars Championship CEO Sean Seamer has stated that the target is to have spectators back on site for the race weekend at Darwin on August 8-9.

“We are hoping that the first event that we will be able to have crowds back is Darwin,” said Seamer to supercars.com.

“We are constantly monitoring all of the government advice and working with the government health departments, much like every other sport and business in Australia.”

Another hot topic is the availability of camping during the Bathurst 1000 endurance event that will take place on October 8-11.

“We are working on a camping plan for Bathurst that allows us to observe current government restrictions and social distancing. So, we are really hopeful and planning towards having people there at the Bathurst 1000,” said Seamer.
