BoP and homologation confirmed for new Cupra Leon Competición
The technical department of the WSC Group, the rights holder of TCR, has confirmed the homologation and balance of performance for the new Cupra Leon Competición.
The Spanish race car will run at 100% of engine power, 40kg of ballast, a ride height of 80mm and a minimum racing weight of 1305kg.
The car will for example run with 2,5% more power than the Hyundai i30N TCR and the Lynk & Co 03 TCR, and carry 20kg less BoP ballast weight.
The Cupra Leon Competición will make its racing debut this weekend in the hands of team Scuderia del Girasole during the TCR Italy championship season opener.
Also announced in the bulletin from WSC is that the rev limiter and maximum boost has been increased for the Lada Vesta Sport TCR, from 6750 to 6900 rpm.
