Evgenii Leonov joins TCR Europe opener with Volcano Motorsport

Evgenii Leonov is going to take part in the TCR Europe series opener at Paul Ricard on August 22-23 with Volcano Motorsport.

The Russian driver, who has previously raced in the TCR category of Campeonato de España Resistenci with Mikel Azcona, is going to drive a Cupra TCR for the Spanish team.

“We are considering this season as preparation for a full campaign in TCR Europe in the near future,” said Leonov.

“It will be very important for us to finish the races in France and to compete on the same level as the more experienced international drivers. Our aim is to become truly competitive members of the TCR Europe community.”
