Fiat Tipo TCR set for TCR Italy debut at Vallelunga

Tecnodom Sport will debut the Fiat Tipo TCR in the TCR Italy championship at Vallelunga this weekend.

Luca Rangoni will drive the car in the races but will not be eligible to score points as the car is not yet homologated.

“We have finally decided to try to race our rivals at Vallelunga. The idea is to understand where we are in terms of performance with the other cars,” said Kevin Giacon of Technodom Sport to motorsport.it.

“By racing without being able to score points, we will not have any pressure regarding results. We will concentrate on accumulating data and recording all the performance of the cars that is in the final stages of development.”

The team completed a test at the Tazio Nuvolari circuit in Italy last month with South American drivers ahead of potential sales for the inaugural TCR South America championship season.
