Raffaele Gurrieri makes TCR Italy return

Raffaele Gurrieri will return to TCR Italy this season, racing a Cupra León VZ for ST Sports, a newly started team by former champion Salvatore Tavano.

“Our goal is to fight for the Master title, but obviously we will be aiming for some good overall result as well,” said Tavano.

Gurrieri claimed the Coppa Italia Turismo title last year and last raced in TCR Italy during the 2024 season for Scuderia del Girasole, finishing 22nd overall and fifth in the Masters Trophy.

“After having clinched the Coppa Italia Turismo title, I’m delighted to return to TCR Italy with the hope of being competitive,” said Gurrieri.
