Fernando Navarrete first confirmed TCR Spain entry

Fernando Navarrete has become the first driver to confirm entry for the inaugural TCR Spain championship season.

The Spaniard will drive a Peugeot 308TCR for SMC Junior Motorsport.

“I am thrilled to announce my participation in TCR Spain with a Peugeot 308 run by the SMC Junior Motorsport team,” said Navarrete.

Navarrete made his TCR Europe debut with the team last year in the Jarama season finale, also confirming that he will be back for a couple of rounds this year.

“It will be a difficult season, as we expect strong competition in terms of drivers and cars. On top of this I can confirm we will also take part in some rounds of the 2021 TCR Europe championship,” said Navarrete.
