TCR South America issues revised 2021 calendar

The TCR South America championship organisation has issued a revised calendar for its inaugural season, confirming half of the venues.

The season start has been moved three weeks forward to May 22-23 and will be held at Goiânia in Brazil.

The first three races will be held in Brazil, with Velopark for the second round and Curitiba for the third.

The event at Curitiba will also be the first of two endurance races where two drivers will share the driving duties of each car.

The season moves to Uruguay in August as Rivera will host round number four.

Rounds five, six and seven will be held in Argentina at venues that are yet to be confirmed. The sixth round will be held as an endurance race on October 2-3.

The season finale will be held at a yet to be confirmed venue and date in either Chile or Argentina.
