Squadra Martino enters two Hondas for inaugural TCR South America season

Squadra Martino has entered two Honda Civic Type-R TCRs for the inaugural TCR South America season, a team currently fielding Hondas in the Argentinian Super TC2000 championship.

“This new project puts us back on the international scene and within a championship that will surely be very competitive, as the TCR concept has been proven to be around the world,” said Sebastián Martino, general director of Squadra Martino.

“It will be a huge challenge to put two Honda Civic Type R TCRs on the grid and we have everything to fight for from the beginning.”

The Argentinian team, headed by former STC2000 driver Sebastián Martino, is yet to reveal its two drivers, stating that information will be issued “in the coming days.”
