Teenage racer signs Ayrton Chorne joins TCR South America grid

Ayrton Chorne has become the latest driver to be confirmed on the grid for the inaugural season of the new TCR South America season.

The teenager, who is just 16-years-old, will be at the wheel of a Honda Civic Type R being run by the Squadra Martino team.

Chorne will line-up alongside Argentine countryman José Manuel Sapag as he moves into TCR competition for the first time.

The youngster previously raced in karting before stepping up to Formula 4 and Formula Renault. He currently sits 17th in the TC2000 Championship, where he is driving a Ford Focus for Escudería Fela.
