Sydney Motorsport Park confirmed for four back-to-back Supercars races

Sydney Motorsport Park has been confirmed to host the first Supercars Championship races since July following the three-month break due to COVID restrictions.

The circuit will host a total of four back-to-back race weekends:

Friday 29th – Sunday 31st October
Saturday 6th – Sunday 7th November
Saturday 13th – Sunday 14th November
Friday 19th – Sunday 21st November

Different layouts of the circuit will be used, as well as night races under the circuit flood lights.

“What an exciting five-week period for motorsport in NSW with five spectacular events to round out the 2021 Supercars Championship season,” said NSW Minister for Jobs, Investment, Tourism and Western Sydney Stuart Ayres.

“Sydney Motorsport Park is a world-class venue and the NSW Government’s investment in permanent lights has created the unique opportunity for fans to enjoy two weekends of thrilling night racing at Eastern Creek.

“NSW is proud to host these national events that will give the motorsport community cause for celebration, provide fans with amazing entertainment and support our State’s economy through visitation and broadcast reach to future visitors.”

The Bathurst season finale on November 30-December 5 will be next up after these events.
